things i’m digging today

1. Express Lip Gloss in Sugar Swirl

We bought this stuff just so we could tip over the $100 mark at Express this weekend and use a coupon, but I’m so glad we did because I love this! The color is nude, shiny but not sparkly. And, the best part, it tastes like delicious, delicious sugar cookies. YUM.

2. Kale Chips

Seriously. I can’t stop eating them. And they are pretty much the cheapest burger side dish around. So crunchy, salty and super healthy!

3. Teux Deux

I’ve been planning out my days by using my very favorite, free to-do list website—Teux Deux. I love how simple and straightforward it is. I love that I can assign tasks to different days and I use that to plan out my week. Plus, I love, love seeing an entire day’s worth of tasks crossed off!

4. No Bake Cookies

Do these really need any explanation?

5. Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Markers

I got these markers for free at a conference in February and I am in love with them! Bright colors, thin tip and an awesome case that turns into a stand.

6. Cherries!

I saw cherries for the first time in the grocery story this weekend and it makes me so, so, so happy! Cherries are definitely my favorite fruit but entirely too pricey to buy out-of-season (if you can even find them). I see chocolate cherry bomb overnight oats in my future!

7. Pinterest

Pinterest is a way of cataloging and saving all the pretty things you see out on the internet. I’m totally obsessed with it. Follow me there and look at allllllll of the pretty things I’m digging right now.

monday motivation: get movin’!

For the longest time, I associated exercise with weight loss—I think a lot of people do. But in the past few years, I’ve started to appreciate exercise for its benefits beyond a smaller number on the scale. Moving more makes me happier, stronger and healthier. When I’m consistently exercising, I get sick less, I sleep better and I am a better person to be around.
