monday motivation: get movin’!

For the longest time, I associated exercise with weight loss—I think a lot of people do. But in the past few years, I’ve started to appreciate exercise for its benefits beyond a smaller number on the scale. Moving more makes me happier, stronger and healthier. When I’m consistently exercising, I get sick less, I sleep better and I am a better person to be around.

    This is why I’m going to start running! I want to start exercising to feel better in general. Gonna try for my first 5K in July!

    I totally, 100% agree with you. Exercise is so good for your physical and (especially for me) mental health. I use exercise- yoga, strength training, aerobics, as my stress busters and as a chance for some “me time.”
