the BTHR etsy shop + giveaway

One of my good friends, and longtime reader, Megs offered a pretty genius suggestion last week: I should open an Etsy shop with my Monday Motivation designs! She’s a smart cookie. I immediately went to work setting a shop up and picking out my favorite MM quotes and now have them all up and posted for your purchasing pleasure.

My “day job” is as a graphic designer and I have a fine arts degree, so it is only somewhat natural that I’d push that talent into something related to BTHR. I love the Monday Motivations because the quotes are great, the typography is fun, and I think they are a neat little way to give yourself a good kick in the pants. Buy a few prints, frame them up and hang them in your office, your home gym or anywhere you might need a little extra “umph.”

The quotes are professionally printed on high-quality matte paper and shipped to you in a flash! I am sticking to a standard 8 x 10 size now (easy to frame and ship), but I do offer larger sizes as a custom order.

In the future,  I might expand past my MM quotes in the Etsy shop, so feel free to offer any suggestions of type of prints you’d like to see.

Want to get your hands on some of MM prints for free? It is your lucky day, because as part of the Epic Blogiversary Celebration, I’m giving away one print of your choice to three lucky readers!

I love your Monday Motivations posts and am so glad to see you on etsy! In the future, will you be adding your graphics to the prints too? (i.e. that gorgeous tree from the “be not afraid of growing slowly” quote a few weeks ago…) I hope so <3
If I am one of the lucky 3, my choice would be the "happiness is not a station you arrive at" print.
    Happy anniversary!

  2. Laurel says

I would chose the “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Such a true statement and something we could all benefit from remembering!

  3. SaraD says

LOVE it! I always look forward to your Monday motivation posts. The happiness one speaks to me!

    Happy Blogiversary!

  4. Becky says

Happy Anniversary! Love the prints, my fave has to be the “Don’t be afraid of growing slowly”
Congrats and here is to an even more successful year to come!

  5. Jocelyne says

I really enjoy the “peace/home” print.

Happy first anniversary! Happy to have been reading (almost) right from the beginning.

  6. Lori says

Really like the peace/home one, especially since we’re in the process of building a house! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  7. Bre says

    Happy First Anniversary!

I’ve been following your blog for months and have always loved your Monday Motivation posts. I would choose the Aesop quote because its been one of my favorites for a long time!

  8. Jennifer says

I love the Peace/Home one. After finally having my long-distance boyfriend, then fiancé, now husband (from Switzerland, so I was right there with you dealing with USCIS and visas) get his employment authorization and move here to Chicago with me, we will be moving together to a larger apartment next month. This would be a great reminder to cherish what we have worked so hard to have: a home together!

  9. Rikk Ofek says

I love the happiness motivational one! I think you are going to be smashingly successful on Etsy. Way to go!

  10. Gina says

Happy blogiversary! BTHR is one of my favs for sure. :)

I so love your Monday Motivational quotes and the Home/Peace one would be my top pick.

  11. says

What about selling your little reusable snack bags? Those are cute! I’d get some! I like the “worrying” quote – it’d be a good, subtle reminder to my worry-wart of a husband! I’d hang it in his office!

  12. says

The biggest coincidence happened today… I’m new to the blogging world (3 weeks in) and I was writing my first “weekly goals” post inspired by YOU!! And then I saw this post… so I incorporated your blogiversary giveaway in… pretty neat! I hope you get a chance to read it :)
Also — I love this giveaway!! Mostly – that you deliver outside of North America because I’m a Canadian living in Australia. :)
Enjoy your week of celebration! oh ya… and if by chance I’m lucky enough to win… my favourite quote is “growing slowly”.

  13. says

My favorite is the Growing Slowly quote. I have been telling myself for nearly 2 years now that my journey, although slow, is still a success & that it’s better than nothing (which is what I was doing before). It’s so easy to get discouraged when I see other people making fast transformations, but I like to think the longer it takes me, the more likely I am to continue & maintain the changes I’ve made so far!

  14. MegsFitness says

I don’t want to win a print because you’re amazing and I’m already going to buy one, but I just wanted to say that I appreciate the shout out and I’m so very excited for your shop to be receiving such a warm welcome!! I hope business booms for you 😀

  15. says

I’m so glad you did this! I had a few of your Monday Motivations printed out and pinned up on my cube at work! I would love to win the Growing Slowly print. It is my favorite out of what you have available so far!

  16. Elle says

Haaa, I would HAVE to choose the one about worrying being like a rocking chair, simply because my husband NEEDS to read that every day. Le sigh.

  17. Michelle says

Ahh, I didn’t realize you MADE these each week! (D’oh!)

I love the Chinese proverb the most. That’s something I have to keep in mind before getting discouraged.

  18. Breen I says

I LOVE these – so simple & true! I would dig getting the “8×10 Worry/Rocking Chair Motivational Quote Print” – heehee! Fabulous Quote!! It says it is anonymous…is it really yours?! I LOVE it!! :)

  19. says

I love the saying “Happiness is not a station we arrive at, but a manner of traveling”. It’s always reminded me to stay positive and keep pursuing what makes me happy.

  20. Allie says

I never knew these were your designs! I’m very impressed. Peace is Another Word for Home is my favorite by far. Every Monday if the quote has a significant relevance to me that day/week, I’ll make it the background of my mac :)

  21. patti says

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your Monday Motivation blogs…had no idea that you’d actually designed the pictures…if I won, I’d choose the do not use your stomach as a trash can print…great advice!

  22. Sarah says

Woah, how did I not realize that you created these yourself? Of course you did! I love them! Any chance you’d consider doing them in smaller sizes, like 5×7? I love the idea of a collection of smaller ones. =)
