2011 bthr reader survey (giveaway)

I mentioned in my confessions post from this morning that I’m already working on my 2012 goals. Normally I wouldn’t share those until right before the ball drops, but today, I’m going to spill the beans on one of them. One of my goals for 2012 is to become a better blogger. Now that involves a whole range of things that I’ll talk more about when the end of December comes ’round, but for now, part of that is getting feedback from you guys. We had discussed having an anonymous “suggestion box” for a blog and while I still think that’s an awesome idea, right now, I’d like some answers to more targeted questions. So give a warm BTHR welcome to the BTHR Reader Survey (2011 Edition).

I’d really like to make this a yearly (or more) event. I think it is so important to get real, honest feedback to get better and better at this. Truthfully, I make money off of BTHR and if I’m going to be bringing in an income off of my work, I want it to be the best it can possibly be. Consider this my yearly performance review and you folks are my boss.

I hope that you’ll take 10 minutes (or so) and go answer some questions for me. After all, it’s a win-win. I get info about what you like and don’t and you get better, smarter, more targeted content that you’ve requested.

If that isn’t enough of a motivation, maybe it’ll sweeten the pot if I say if you complete the survey will be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card. Free stuff is always awesome, right?

The survey will be open for responses until the end of December and fully expect me to pimp it out on a very frequent—and probably annoying—basis.

Oh, one more thing: promise me you’ll be honest. I can’t get any better at this if everything is sugar-coated gum drops, you know? Are you ready to help a girl out? Then clicky-click the button below.

If you can’t take the survey right-this-very-second, I’ve added the button to the side bar over to your right and you can access it whenever you like. And make sure to come back after you are done to enter for the Amazon gift card.
