1. I think hard-boiled eggs are one of my favorite foods ever. Is that weird?

2. I was a little lot bummed that my birthday was falling during the week of moving, but it’s actually turned out for the best. Since our kitchen is out-of-commission we’re eating out all week. It feels like it’s a weeklong birthday-extravaganza celebration! Plus, we’re getting to hit up all of our favorite B-town restaurants one last time.

3. We are constantly replacing words in song lyrics with “Puppyface” or “PF” or “Puppy”. It’s really obnoxious. Pretty much any song we hear get’s PF-erized.

But you didn’t have to PF me off. Now you’re just some puppy that I used to know.

4. We packed away the Gilmore Girls DVDs. I’m seriously going through withdrawal.

5. We’re starting a new blog! It’s a joint project between Babyface and I, and it will deal with all things home improvement, DIY and decor. Basically, it’ll give you folks that are interested a chance to tune into our adventures in home ownership, and those of you that could care less to tune out. We’re very, very excited about it. We’ll be (hopefully) launching in the next few weeks. More info to come!

Do you have any confessions to share?

When I moved at the beginning of May, Gilmore Girls got me through many a nights packing. I put the season that I was currently watching in my overnight bag and specifically labeled the box I packed the others in so I could find it when I was ready for a new season! Good luck with your move!

Bahahaa!! Love how you add PF to everything. My dog is Sophie but we call her “Link”( like a sausage link) and we throw Link into songs allll the time! I thought we were the only weirdos lol

We do #3 all.the.time. If it’s not Wendy, it’s “beagle” or “beag”, and it’s amazing how much you can fit those words into.

Grats on the move! Can’t wait for the new blog… I am all about home decor and DIY projects.

I think one of the funnest things that we do with our animals is we have full blown conversations with them. Our new cat, Taz, is quite the talker and we infer what he’s saying based on the tone/variation.

Taz: “Hey! Hey!” (as he jumps up onto the cat tower beside me)
    Me: “What?”
Taz: “Nothin…” (as he looks away)
    Me: “Really?”
    Taz: “Yeah….” (still looking away)
