friday freebie: 16 ounce blended chobani

Man, I love doing giveaways. I love doing all kinds of giveaways, but there are certain products that I really love to share. If you couldn’t tell from the multiple Chobani giveaways I’ve done in the past, Chobani is one of my absolute favorite brands to work with as a blogger. Not only do I 100% believe in their product (so yummy) but they are also an absolute joy to work with. Chobani is good people. I was so proud to see them as such a huge sponsor of the Olympics. It was nice to see a health-minded company take up some of the airtime in the midst of all the fast food and soft drink companies.

Basically, Chobani rocks. And I’ve got some to give away!

Recently, Chobani released their new 16 ounce blended containers. Basically these are the most popular Chobani flavors, in a larger size and with the fruit blended throughout the yogurt instead of on the bottom. I love these for making overnight oats! I took one whole 16 ounce container and would mix it with fruit, oats and protein powder, stash it in the fridge and then eat on it for a few days. Breakfast made easy.

Ready to win some CHO of your own? One lucky person is going to win six of the flavored, blended 16 ounce cups. Wowzas!

  1. Aimee M says

What CAN’T I do with all of that delicious Cho?!? To start, I’d make the most bangin’ breakfast ever–Chobani black cherry topped with fresh blueberries, ground flaxseed, and dark chocolate chips.

  2. says

I would definitely try overnight oats with this! I tried overnight oats with plain Greek yogurt last year and peanut butter…and hated it. I think if I had used flavored chobani and nixed the PB I would have loved it more and jumped on the overnight oats bandwagon

  3. Alexa says

For starters, I think I would try my hand at a fro-yo recipe! Gotta get that out of my system before it’s time for fall recipes!

  4. Dana says

yum! I’d flavor my smoothies around the new flavors! it would totally bump up how yummy they are and I can stop only using the small plain chobanis!

  5. says

I love Chobani and they have excellent customer service. I tweeted them that I opened a container of their yogurt that was missing the fruit in the bottom and not 30 minutes later I had a heartfelt apology and coupons for replacement cups in the mail.

  6. Rachel says

Vanilla chocolate chunk? I would totally love to try that. I already feel like chobani yogurt is like custard and I am cheating and eating dessert for breakfast… This would make it really dessert.

  7. Kellyg says

I would love to win! I would feed my 3 kids smoothies each morning, bake some different breads since I would have neat yogurts on hand, and try that oatmeal recipe that you posted :)

  8. Rachie G says

All of that yogurt would be delicious for a brunch with friends. We just finished builiding our porch, it’d be nice to have friends over for build your own yogurt parfaits and mismosa’s of course! I need to try to the pineapple but I haven’t found it where I live.

  9. Melissa says

I would of course eat it! It’s my go to as a mid morning snack. And my son actually likes it so that’s a plus

  10. says

WHAT??? They have vanilla chocolate chunk now? Umm apparently I need to deviate from my amazing pineapple and give the others a try. Seems like this give away would be a good chance to do that.

  11. Ashlee says

I love Chobani. I would eat it, like I always do, for breakfast with some granola or ground flax and whatever sort of berries I have in my fridge at the time. It packs a good protein punch for me in the morning!

  12. says

I would make protein pancakes, smoothies, poundcake…the possibilities are endless. Dip for fruit? Yes, please. Straight up? Yep. In parfaits? Yes, yes, yes.

  13. Cosmos says

It would be a treat! I keep a few Chobani yogurts on hand for a snack, or as a meal when my eating is off schedule. It’s so good I save it for a treat!

  14. Athena R says

I love Chobani. I like to eat it with granola. If I’m not eating it plain or with granola, I love it mixed in smoothies. I love the idea of it mixed with oats. I’ll have to try that.

  15. Lisa says

As I sit here enjoying my chobani for breakfast, I can only imagine the things I could make with a whole crapload of it. I would try my hand at baking with it for sure!

  16. Kim says

What would I do with it – stuff my freaking face. I love that stuff! It’s my favorite afternoon snack with fruit and sometimes a dark chocolate granola thin. So good.

  17. says

What would I do with all the Cho? Well, I would land on cloud 9 with my besties and we’d stuff our faces. I’d be nomming on the goodness at breakfast, lunch and snack.

  18. Ashley says

I LOVE CHOBANI!! Literally have it every morning….and afternoon. :) My favorite is to put frozen fruit in it, soo good! Also love it with smoothies but I want to try some of the recipes that I’ve seen on Chobani’s Pinterest page!

  19. Gretchen says

I would totally try your overnight oatmeal! We do something similar already with rolled oats, steel cut oats, frozen berries and milk!

  20. Emily says

I have been mixing chobani with fresh seasonal fruit from our CSA this summer and it’s the best! Chobani + fresh summer peaches and blueberries = a win.

  21. says

Oh My! I have so many recipes I make with Greek yogurt, and I LOVE eating it for breakfast, snacks and desserts, so this would be put to good use in my house! My 3 year old also loves Greek yogurt so I’m all over this giveaway! Thanks!

  22. says

The clear answer is… EAT IT! I love Chobani plain, and eat it pretty much every say. But aside from having it on it’s own, I’d use it for baking, in overnight oats, and in smoothies!

  23. Coconuts says

    Smoothies! I’m obsessed with smoothies!

On a related note, I listened to a story on NPR the other day about Chobani being one of the very few making actual authentic Greek yogurt, using special machines to strain more liquid out. Most of the other brands use corn starch to thicken the yogurt into a Greek-like consistency! I am glad I caught the story and will only buy Chobani from now on! (I realize this sounds like a shameless plug and swear I don’t work for Chobani!)

  24. Peg says

I just finished a container of 0% Strawberry for my lunch before reading this. No kidding! I love Chobani with extra fruit (today was about 2/3rds cup of frozen wild blueberries AND a tablespoon or two of slivered almonds. It’s excellent and so easy! And I also would put the blended stuff in my smoothies too!

  25. Shelley says

Chobani is our go-to for breakfast lately, and we would be excited to try some new flavors that aren’t offered here in our area! (I’m looking at you, vanilla with chocolate!)

  26. Julie says

Whoa, Chobani! I would love each and every bite as I ate it with my breakfast. I recently listened to an NPR interview with the owner β€”Β it really made my day to find out the owner is from Turkey β€” and I really respect them and their methods. They put out one serious quality product that is DELICIOUS.

  27. Jenny says

With that much greek yogurt I would HAVE to finally give overnight oats a try! (Usually I just eat it on its own or with sliced bananas.)

  28. Alyssa says

I would blend it up with some fruit and milk and freeze it in popsicle molds and enjoy the last days of summer with my homemade smoothie pops.

  29. Bridget says

I love Chobani yogurt. It also happens to be the only thing I can stomach to eat each morning. I’m seven weeks pregnant and nothing but this yogurt appeals to me. I love the mango flavor the best.

  30. Laura says

I would devour the pineapple flavor immediately as it’s my fave! Then I would move on to the vanilla chocolate chunk(!?) Umm…they do not sell that flavor in the stores around here! YUM.

  31. Katherine says

I would give the pineapple to my dad. It’s his absolute favorite flavor! Otherwise, I would bake a delicious pound cake with the vanilla chocolate chunk and share the rest with my roommate. Greek yogurt is the perfect fuel for broke college students. πŸ˜€

  32. Katie says

I would most definitely either eat it on its own, or mix it with some Kashi Go Lean Crunch. Granola-type cereals and yogurt make a fantastic breakfast. πŸ˜€

  33. Emily says

My family would eat it up! My daughter loves the pineapple flavor. She will eat it when she won’t eat anything else and as a parent I feel better about giving her a high protein yogurt than a bowl of Mac and cheese or those fish crackers everyone loves so much πŸ˜‰

  34. Trista says

I haven’t done much creative with Chobani yogurt…other than eat it! I’ve tried other greek yogurts and Chobani is my absolute fav. Would so love to win this! :)

  35. elissa says

Chobani peach is definitely my favorite!! I eat it every morning for breakfast. With all the extra, there’s an absolutely divine fruit and yogurt oat muffin recipe floating around pinterest, and it uses any flavor of Chobani you like. I see a lot of oatmeal and greek yogurt recipes in my future!!

  36. says

I am obsessed with Chobani! Infact I may eat one for dessert right now that I’m thinking about that good stuff. I haven’t tried the 16 oz blended cups yet but I’m very eager to. I love mixing my Cho with some granola and fruit. Breakfast of Champions!

  37. says

I love myself some CHO! I love coooking with it myself- I actually just posted about zucchini cakes with a spicy greek yogurt sauce! I would continue to experiment in the kitchen :)

  38. barbara n says

I love all the chobani flavors and eat them every day! I would love to win some to use in my morning smoothies and afternoon snack

  39. audra says

great idea for a contest! i didn’t even know chobani had mixed fruit flavors; i hate yogurts with fruit on the bottom because i always want things to be mixed perfectly, so i usually just stick with buying the plain tubs from costco. i would try each one in their original form, and definitely try overnight oats! i’ve been meaning to try making them, but keep forgetting to buy oatmeal.. thanks for the contest!

  40. Tara says

Chobani is my favorite, I use it my breakfast smoothies all the time. I want to try pineapple so bad, my grocery store carries very few of the flavored variety.

  41. Inkyung says

Dried fruit and Granola is definitely the way to go!
Of course, vanilla CHO with peanut butter and chocolate chips isn’t half bad either :)
