friday freebie: 16 ounce blended chobani

Man, I love doing giveaways. I love doing all kinds of giveaways, but there are certain products that I really love to share. If you couldn’t tell from the multiple Chobani giveaways I’ve done in the past, Chobani is one of my absolute favorite brands to work with as a blogger. Not only do I 100% believe in their product (so yummy) but they are also an absolute joy to work with. Chobani is good people. I was so proud to see them as such a huge sponsor of the Olympics. It was nice to see a health-minded company take up some of the airtime in the midst of all the fast food and soft drink companies.

Basically, Chobani rocks. And I’ve got some to give away!

Recently, Chobani released their new 16 ounce blended containers. Basically these are the most popular Chobani flavors, in a larger size and with the fruit blended throughout the yogurt instead of on the bottom. I love these for making overnight oats! I took one whole 16 ounce container and would mix it with fruit, oats and protein powder, stash it in the fridge and then eat on it for a few days. Breakfast made easy.

  1. What would I do with all that Cho yogurt? Its simple! I would eat it and I would enjoy it. :)

  3. What CAN’T I do with all of that delicious Cho?!? To start, I’d make the most bangin’ breakfast ever–Chobani black cherry topped with fresh blueberries, ground flaxseed, and dark chocolate chips.

  4. I would definitely try overnight oats with this! I tried overnight oats with plain Greek yogurt last year and peanut butter…and hated it. I think if I had used flavored chobani and nixed the PB I would have loved it more and jumped on the overnight oats bandwagon

  5. For starters, I think I would try my hand at a fro-yo recipe! Gotta get that out of my system before it’s time for fall recipes!

  6. yum! I’d flavor my smoothies around the new flavors! it would totally bump up how yummy they are and I can stop only using the small plain chobanis!

  10. I love Chobani and they have excellent customer service. I tweeted them that I opened a container of their yogurt that was missing the fruit in the bottom and not 30 minutes later I had a heartfelt apology and coupons for replacement cups in the mail.

  17. All of that yogurt would be delicious for a brunch with friends. We just finished builiding our porch, it’d be nice to have friends over for build your own yogurt parfaits and mismosa’s of course! I need to try to the pineapple but I haven’t found it where I live.

  22. I love Chobani. I would eat it, like I always do, for breakfast with some granola or ground flax and whatever sort of berries I have in my fridge at the time. It packs a good protein punch for me in the morning!

  23. I would add it to smoothies. I think even a yogurt Panna Cotta with flavored Chobani would be a great idea.

  25. I would make protein pancakes, smoothies, poundcake…the possibilities are endless. Dip for fruit? Yes, please. Straight up? Yep. In parfaits? Yes, yes, yes.

  26. It would be a treat! I keep a few Chobani yogurts on hand for a snack, or as a meal when my eating is off schedule. It’s so good I save it for a treat!

  28. I love Chobani. I like to eat it with granola. If I’m not eating it plain or with granola, I love it mixed in smoothies. I love the idea of it mixed with oats. I’ll have to try that.

  29. My favorite breakfast is ricotta, mixed with Greek yogurt, topped with berries and dark chocolate chips or shavings.

  30. As I sit here enjoying my chobani for breakfast, I can only imagine the things I could make with a whole crapload of it. I would try my hand at baking with it for sure!

  32. What would I do with it – stuff my freaking face. I love that stuff! It’s my favorite afternoon snack with fruit and sometimes a dark chocolate granola thin. So good.

  33. What would I do with all the Cho? Well, I would land on cloud 9 with my besties and we’d stuff our faces. I’d be nomming on the goodness at breakfast, lunch and snack.

  34. I LOVE CHOBANI!! Literally have it every morning….and afternoon. :) My favorite is to put frozen fruit in it, soo good! Also love it with smoothies but I want to try some of the recipes that I’ve seen on Chobani’s Pinterest page!

  37. I would totally try your overnight oatmeal! We do something similar already with rolled oats, steel cut oats, frozen berries and milk!

  38. I have been mixing chobani with fresh seasonal fruit from our CSA this summer and it’s the best! Chobani + fresh summer peaches and blueberries = a win.

  43. Oh My! I have so many recipes I make with Greek yogurt, and I LOVE eating it for breakfast, snacks and desserts, so this would be put to good use in my house! My 3 year old also loves Greek yogurt so I’m all over this giveaway! Thanks!

  44. The clear answer is… EAT IT! I love Chobani plain, and eat it pretty much every say. But aside from having it on it’s own, I’d use it for baking, in overnight oats, and in smoothies!

  45. Use it in baking! I love it in cakes and cupcakes, as well as stirred into my guacamole and in fruit dips.

    On a related note, I listened to a story on NPR the other day about Chobani being one of the very few making actual authentic Greek yogurt, using special machines to strain more liquid out. Most of the other brands use corn starch to thicken the yogurt into a Greek-like consistency! I am glad I caught the story and will only buy Chobani from now on! (I realize this sounds like a shameless plug and swear I don’t work for Chobani!)

  47. 16 oz of Chobani – so many possibilities! I would start with overnight oats and smoothies.

  48. I just finished a container of 0% Strawberry for my lunch before reading this. No kidding! I love Chobani with extra fruit (today was about 2/3rds cup of frozen wild blueberries AND a tablespoon or two of slivered almonds. It’s excellent and so easy! And I also would put the blended stuff in my smoothies too!

  49. Chobani is our go-to for breakfast lately, and we would be excited to try some new flavors that aren’t offered here in our area! (I’m looking at you, vanilla with chocolate!)
