1. I can’t make single smoothies. I’m historically bad at spatial reasoning and whenever I go to make a single smoothie just for me it always ends up being enough to serve a small army.

2. I love ABC Family movies. Especially Christmas ones. They are awesome. My DVR? Full of ’em.

3. I dyed my hair back all one color this past weekend. And it’s bittersweet. On one hand, I flippin’ loved having crazy-colored hair. It’s like the end of a very colorful era. But, on the other hand, natural hair color is much more appropriate for my I-now-live-in-the-middle-of-nowhere lifestyle. I didn’t see myself making the 30-45 minute commute to a salon every six weeks to get my streaks redone. Rest in peace, red/blue/purple/pink/blonde streaks.

4. We bought an obnoxious amount of alcohol this weekend. I could give the excuse that we’re stocking up for a holiday party, but we aren’t. We just really like delicious booze.

5. I haven’t done a real workout in about two weeks. I’m definitely stuck deep in the no-motivation snowball. I should feel guilty about it, but sometimes I think we all need a break. Someday I’ll step foot in a gym again, today is just not that day.

Do you have any confessions to share?

How long did you have the streaks in your hair? I’ve had some version of my pink one for 5 years now, I mourn the day it will go! I’m convinced I’ll be a little old lady with hot pink in her hair :) Thankfully, I dated a hairstylist years ago so I can bleach and color it at home.

Oh my gosh. I cannot get myself to exercise for anything right now. Maybe it’s winter and that need to preserve the fat reserves for hibernation phenomenon?

p.s. Don’t put the Maple Crown Royal on pancakes no matter how good you think it sounds. It’s not. It’s just not.

I put chocolate chips in my yogurt bowl every damn time i eat yogurt. I’m pretty sure it takes away from the healthyness of a yogurt bowl, but i’m in pretty deep with chocolate and i can’t go back now, yogurt just won’t be the same.
Oh and i love your hair:) crazy beautiful you are

That picture of you is so gorgeous! I don’t believe for a second that the colorful streaks are gone forever, but your hair looks very nice all one color, too. :)

Your eyes just stand out so much in that picture. Wow.

Hmm.. confessions.. I, too, have not seen the inside of a gym in a very long while. My uh.. spare tire.. is getting a bit inflated because of it.

Also, sometimes I like to put Amaretto in my hot chocolate… And some times I don’t let other people know I’m doing that because I don’t want to share. It’s too darn good!

I always make enough smoothie to feed a small army… and then I drink it all.
Maple Crown Royal?? Jigga what??? I need to find that. Have you tried it?
Your hair looks lovely! I like it either way. I always have highlights, but do ’em myself. I usually touch up my roots, but just bought a box to do my entire head one color. I have grays like you wouldn’t believe- but they’re all in the front in one spot (like a Bonnie Raitt style streal). My mom has it too. When I’m a little older I’ll let it go- but I think 32 is a little young for that.

I likewise can never make a single smoothie. Fortunately I’ve FINALLY got it down to two 16oz servings – the perfect amount each time for my husband and myself. Even though I know reasonably that halving my ingredients exactly should do it, I always come out with around 24oz instead when I try to cut it back down. I think my blender just has a hex on it.

  8. Lina says

I too cannot make a single serving smoothie, so I’ve just stopped trying. I now just freeze the other half in my fav handled mason jar to take with me to the gym for a post workout snack.

  9. Angie says

I think your hair looks great! I live in the middle of no where too and doing anything out of the ordinary around here causes LOTS of stares. For that reason alone, I try to just blend in.

I’ve never had Whipped Cream Vodka! Is it good?

    1. your hair is gorgeous all one color but I totally understand being sad about a less-fun-than-you’re-used-to color.

    2. in regards to the booze, you can never be too prepared :)

Thanks so much for sharing these posts. I have not set foot at the gym or done at-home workouts in 2 weeks too, and I also think that it should not be a big deal, and this time of the year is about finding what makes you comfortable and warm, not adding stress. So if there is no time for workouts, I just accept that, and know that I will go back to physical activity when it makes me feel better, not stressed.
Have a great and fulfilling day!
